You make me smile

The challenges I'm entering this card in are listed at the end of this post.

This is another card that I have made using lots of bits from my stash, I'm trying to use my stash to compensate for all the buying of craft stuff I keep doing! I have had this digi image from Pollycrafts for a while and never used it. Of course I coloured the image using my copics. The cute little 'you make me smile' sentiment ticket was a free digi from Marit she has loads of them over on her blog go check them out.

I have tried a little bit of hand stitching on this card, I really would like the sew easy tool from we r memory keepers as it is much quicker then paper piercing then stitching.

Please leave a comment to let me know what you think.

This little card is a little bit different again from what I usually do, but I'm trying to do cards out of my usual  comfort zone. The list of challenges I'm entering this card into are at the bottom of this post.

The little 'polaroid' frame comes from Lily pad cards for the current digital challenge. The cute little image I have put inside is from Heather Ellis another place I've found super cute digi images.
The card base is made from the papermaina kraft basics pad, I'm just loving this at the moment.

The 'say cheese' stamp is from a set that I have had for ages from cosmo cricket, I'm trying to use up all my old stash!

Yummy for your Tummy!

Just a quick post with the card I made today.  For the list of challenges I'm entering it into please see the end of this post.

I have done something very different than I usually do colour wise, but the backing paper just fitted this gorgeous digi image again you guessed it from my latest digi stamp crush LORi! I keep discovering new places to get digi stamps, it is very dangerous for a crafting shopaholic I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about :)

I have added dimension to this card again, (one of my current favorite techniques) just to her head and hat. Using that fab silicone glue, I had always wondered what crafters used that for! I created the layers by printing the image several times and cutting and layering. Finally of course I used my copic ciao markers to colour her in.

Thanks for stopping by and please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.

Howdy Partner!

Well I think I have my mojo back! (Yippeee!) The challenges I'm entering this into are listed at the bottom of the post.

I fell in love with this image from LORi Boyd the minute I saw him! She has so many gorgeous images I got 3 straight off I just know I'm going to keep going back for more, also she offers fantastic customer services.

I used some paper from my most recent stash another couple of paper pads that I just knew I had to have the minute I saw them. Firstly the kraft card stock with grid lines on it, its from Papermania called Kraft basic's 12x12 (not sure if this is available outside of the UK?) the other paper is from the stack I used the other day from My Minds Eye. Obviously I used my copics to colour the image.

Your comments mean a lot so please let me know what you think by leaving a comment.

Be mine

Well I decide after yesterdays post to stop feeling sorry for myself and to just get on and make something! The list of challenges I have made this for are listed at the end of the post.

This little image is from pink cat studios they have so many cute digi images and rubber stamps you should check it out. The backing paper is from a stack of papers I got made by 'my minds eye' great value for money from the range £7.99 for 36 sheets of 12'x12' paper! I'm also trying to use some of my neglected craft items, so I used my bloom dots embossing folder and old ribbon I've had for ages but not really used.

I'm not entirely happy with the end result of this card, but leave me a comment to let me know what you
think. Thanks for all your nice comments.

Bit of a slump :(

Hi all,

Sorry I have been missing a bit lately. I have been feeling in a bit of a design slump!
I entered a couple of cards into lots of challenges and didn't get anywhere with them :( so feeling a bit sorry for myself hence the design slump.

Also I have had a commission for 10 cards only thank you and congratulation cards but this is taking up all my free crafting time. (I like to make a box for them to keep them in too)

I will be back soon with another card, have been going crazy buying digi images. I swear its addictive! as if I needed another crafting item that was addictive and so easy to get hold of!

Big Fun!

This little guy is fast becoming one of my favorites again he is from Polly Crafts. I have been such a busy crafter, this is my fourth post of the day. Sometimes you feel inspired and you just have to go with it!

Check out his glasses, I'm so pleased with how they turned out I used glossy accents to make them look like glass.

Wedding acceptance

This little thank you card is actually a acceptance card for a wedding I have been invited to later on this year. I can find a stamp or rub on that says acceptance on it so I have to just put thank you on! if anyone knows were I can get something like this please leave a comment and let me know.

I kept it super simple and it is also quite small 3"x4". I really love how it turned out, I think the style would make a lovely simple wedding stationary. It was very easy and quick to make.

I used pearlised paper which I embossed with my floral fantasy cuttlebug embossing folder, and then stuck this onto thicker card stock so the embossing didn't show on the inside.  Stamped the thank you and popped a heart shaped bling on.
