Crafts 4 Eternity R#32

Hi all,
Sorry again for my lack of posts, my laptop is still being fixed (it should be back by the weekend!)
This weeks challenge over at C4E is a colour recipe navy, white or cream and a picture inspiration. I had fun with this challenge combining the colours and picture.

Go check out the other DT blogs (in list in sidebar) and see there creations for this weeks challenge. I look forward to seeing what you create with this weeks recipe.

What's Cooking?

Hi,

Please see the end of this post for the list of challenges I'm entering this card into.

Back to my old faithful kraft card stock! But it does go with this cute little monkey doesn't it! (think that justifies me using it :)  He is another of my favorites digital images from Polly craft I have used a number of Chester monkey images before.

I have to say his sausage has to be a veggie one! (as I'm a vegetarian) but I think I may have made it look to much like meat :)

I have added dimension to his cute little chef hat by cutting out a second hat 'embossing' it (if that's the correct term) and sticking it down with silicone glue.

Be mine

Well I decide after yesterdays post to stop feeling sorry for myself and to just get on and make something! The list of challenges I have made this for are listed at the end of the post.

This little image is from pink cat studios they have so many cute digi images and rubber stamps you should check it out. The backing paper is from a stack of papers I got made by 'my minds eye' great value for money from the range £7.99 for 36 sheets of 12'x12' paper! I'm also trying to use some of my neglected craft items, so I used my bloom dots embossing folder and old ribbon I've had for ages but not really used.

I'm not entirely happy with the end result of this card, but leave me a comment to let me know what you
think. Thanks for all your nice comments.

Challenges
Paper take weekly = Bloom and grow
abc dt challenge = April showers bring May flowers
One stitch at a time = Anything goes

Edited to add: I have edited the picture using picasa 3 thanks to the post over on Mary J's blog brilliant software and its FREE!!

Wedding acceptance

This little thank you card is actually a acceptance card for a wedding I have been invited to later on this year. I can find a stamp or rub on that says acceptance on it so I have to just put thank you on! if anyone knows were I can get something like this please leave a comment and let me know.

I kept it super simple and it is also quite small 3"x4". I really love how it turned out, I think the style would make a lovely simple wedding stationary. It was very easy and quick to make.

I used pearlised paper which I embossed with my floral fantasy cuttlebug embossing folder, and then stuck this onto thicker card stock so the embossing didn't show on the inside.  Stamped the thank you and popped a heart shaped bling on.
Challenges
Sassy Studio Designs= Monochromatic color scheme
